Home Comfort Specialists, Inc. offers no obligation estimates. A service professional will come to your home at a mutually convenient time. A site visit is necessary to asses your needs, address your concerns and perhaps find ways to save you money on installation. Home Comfort Specialists, Inc. presents LENNOX® furnaces, air conditioners and IAQ (indoor air quality) products. This allows us to install the most appropriate equipment for the job. We are confident in the products we sell because of the proven quality and reliability of the LENNOX® name.
STANDARDIZED PRICING
Our company uses the “Standardized” Method to determine repair service prices. Each technician has a cost book that will show the customer cost before the work is performed. There are no surprises at the end of a repair and the customer will not be penalized if the technician encounters an unexpected delay or needs to wait for a part. The standardized system means you pay the same price as everyone else for the repairs no matter how long it takes even if we have to make a trip to buy the parts.
PLANNED MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS
Planned maintenance agreements are designed to save you money and keep your furnace and air conditioning system in top condition year after year. A Home Comfort Specialists, Inc. maintenance agreement includes automatic, annual inspections, lubrication and cleaning. Potential problems are spotted before they cause problems. Annual furnace tune-ups and/or air conditioning start-ups are provided at no extra cost for our planned maintenance agreement customers.
· Planned Maintenance Agreements can reduce operating cost and extend system life.
· Covers all types of gas furnaces and central air conditioners.
· Standard trip and diagnostic charge if emergency service is needed.
· Priority service is provided to maintenance agreement customers.
· Includes a 10% off regular standardized prices for repair.
· Includes one 23 point inspection on the Furnace and one 39 point inspection on the A/C.

During a tune-up maintenance visit, our technician performs a 23-point check of your Heating System
23 Point Heating Precision Tune Up - Maintenance and Safety Check
· Check thermostat operation.
· Clean and adjust thermostat.
· Clean and adjust components for proper operation.
· Clean and adjust all safety controls.
· Check safety limits.
· Check fan control operation.
· Clean burners and controls.
· Clean and adjust pilot assembly (check standing pilot; check electronic spark ignition or hot surface igniter).
· Check thermocouple or electronic flame sensor (clean flame sensor if applicable).
· Clean and adjust burner and lighting strip.
· Check and adjust for maximum efficiency.
· Check for gas leaks in furnace.
· Lubricate motors and bearings as necessary.
· Check cleanliness of main blower.
· Check blower belt and adjust tension (if applicable).
· Check filters condition.
· Check filters and wash permanent filter, change out air filter.
· Check all wiring and connections.
· Check and record blower amp draw with blower door in place.
· Check vent pipe and draft diverter.
· Check CFM or temperature rise across heat exchanger.
· Check complete furnace cycle.
· Check plenum installation and tape.

During a systems maintenance visit, our technician performs a 39-point check of your Air Conditioning System
39 Point Air Conditioning Precision Tune up - Maintenance and Safety Check
· Check thermostat operation.
· Clean and adjust thermostat.
· Install gauges and check operating pressures.
· Read and record pressure on suction side of compressor.
· Read and record pressure on liquid side of compressor.
· Check for adequate refrigerant charge and possible leaks.
· Check evaporator superheat.
· Check outdoor condenser coil temperatures.
· Check for high and low pressure safety switches.
· Check all point-of-entry caps and seals.
· Check high pressure switch for proper operation.
· Visually inspect electrical components, Contactor, caps, wiring, etc. and tighten electrical connections.
· Check start capacitor and potential relay (if applicable).
· Check compressor contactor.
· Check voltage and amperage to all motors with meter.
· Check the disconnect wire size and connections.
· Check the circuit breaker and connections.
· Record potential problem areas.
· Check unit for a “Start Kick” or start capacitor.
· Check unit for motor rain shield.
· Clean all dirt leaves from outdoor condenser unit.
· Clean outdoor condenser coil.
· Read and record amp draw of compressor, after unit is running for 5 minutes.
· Read and record amp draw of condenser fan motor.
· Inspect suction line for proper insulation.
· Inspect all fittings for signs of oil and/or leakage.
· Check lines and fittings with Freon leak detector.
· Check CFM or temperature split across indoor evaporator coil.
· Check condensate drain is open and clean condensate pump (if applicable).
· Lubricate all moving parts.
· Check cleanliness of main blower.
· Check Blower and belts and adjust tension.
· Check filters condition.
· Check filters and wash permanent filter, change out air filter.
· Check all wiring and connections.
· Check and record blower amp draw with blower door in place.
· Check the condition of evaporator coil with “inspection camera.”
· With “inspection camera” look for signs of condensation leaks.
· Check plenum installation and tape.
